Sally is the founder of the Italian non-profit "Associazione Hands-On Sicily," that creates opportunities for island youth to interact with the world. She hopes you enjoy its simplicity, rhyme and rhythm. It took several years-and many bilingual friends-to perfect the Italian version of the poem. This bilingual version of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" came from Sally's desire to share the beloved holiday poem with her daughter in both languages, bridging the cultures. This bilingual book, in both English and Italian, brings the magic Moore captured in his poem to kids all over the world. In 1823, clergyman Clement Clarke Moore, from upstate New York, captured the imagination of the entire nation with his delightful, rhymed description of red-suited Santa Claus and his reindeer-drawn sleigh.
