But, that is not all that makes her wonderful.Kiki builds a world in her books that is deep rooted in history that whisks you away to that time, allowing you to feel as if you have hopped in a time machine and traveled back and BAM.you are now in cheery ole England in the 1800's.Ĭaught up in a whirlwind of factual historical scenes you gasp when that world is ultimately turned in to the most elaborate whimsical universe where faeries reside.īut, I am not going to embellish all the fantastical details of this brilliantly written series.I really do hope that you will take a chance and try them yourselves. I was so fortunate to be able to pick up her Faerie Ring series on a blog tour a while back and completely fell in love with the magical and mystical world that she created.
